- Applicant must belong to a minority community (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi).
- Must be a domicile of Maharashtra.
- Annual family income should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
- Must have secured at least 50% marks in the previous final examination.
- Should be pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, MBBS, or MD degree in a recognized institution.
